The Spirit of the Diamond Fund provides grants for community projects that enhance the beauty, safety, and spirit of the Diamond Neighborhoods. Funding priority is given to projects that are resident-led, open to the community, and/or strengthen relations among community members.

Projects can include art programs, cultural events, historical gatherings, street fairs, health fairs, clean-ups, community gardens, and other neighborhood strengthening programs and activities. Projects that promote cross-cultural understanding are encouraged.
 Community groups, organizations, or individuals applying do not need to be formal non-profit organizations and may receive up to a total of $5,000 in grants from the Spirit of the Diamond Fund during the calendar year.
Spirit of the Diamond Fund applications are accepted six months prior but no later than 60 days before the start of the project.
