Celebrating culture has been a centerpiece of the work to unite San Diego's most culturally diverse community around a common vision for change. Honoring culture through art and entertainment brings Market Creek Plaza alive, brings people together, creates a sense of place, bridges cultures, connects culture and commerce, and shapes a global village. |

Market Creek Plaza was partially funded by a $15-million NMTC loan. U. S. Treasurer Anna Escobedo Cabral chose the Plaza, as a great example of what this program seeks to accomplish, as the site to announce the 2006 round of new tax credits for California organizations. This video tells the Plaza's story and shares highlights from the events of the day. |
