Village Neighborhoods Fund

The Village Neighborhoods Fund ($10,000 - $75,000)

The Village Neighborhoods Fund makes grants to resident groups and neighborhood organizations that serve or support The Village at Market Creek. To apply, an organization must be a 501(c)3 non-profit that:

1. Works with the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation to develop The Village at Market Creek in southeastern San Diego;
2. Provides programs or services that benefit the neighborhoods surrounding The Village at Market Creek; or
3. Provides neighborhood strengthening strategies or models that can inform and advance The Village at Market Creek work.

We also fund a limited number of grants to support projects outside these neighborhoods that demonstrate innovative community and economic development strategies and a commitment to share what works, what doesn’t, and why.

After discussing your project with us, you may be asked to send a brief letter of interest and/or complete a full Village Neighborhoods Fund application. All information should be clear, specific, and to the point. One copy of an application is sufficient. Letters of interest and applications are accepted year-round.
